Or, How Pride Always Goeth Before A Mighty Fall

I didn’t want to wake my wife up. It was 4 AM and she had fallen asleep barely 2 hrs earlier after feeding the baby. I tried to go back to sleep but my mind was wide awake and alert, my leg hurt and I had uncontrollable chills.

So, I shook her awake saying, “Baby, wake up. I am hurt and in pain.”
